Campuses and Learning Centres

Keyano has grown into a modern college with three campuses and four learning centres serving over 3,000 full and part-time students annually.

Clearwater Campus - Located in downtown Fort McMurray, the Clearwater Campus offers quality educational and training opportunities through three program divisions: Academic and Career Programs, Trades and Heavy Industrial and Community and Upgrading Education.

Suncor Energy Industrial Campus - Home to Keyano College's Heavy Industrial Programs, the Campus boasts a Truck Transport Training program, the extremely successful Mine Operations program and the newly implemented Heavy Construction Equipment Operator program. The Campus also houses the Suncor Recruitment Centre.

Fort Chipewyan Campus – Meeting the commitment to Aboriginal education, Keyano College has been involved with the community of Fort Chipewyan since 1976.
Credit instruction is offered principally in the adult upgrading programs of Adult Basic Education and College Preparation. Post-secondary credit courses may also be offered as the need arises in other areas, for example, Business Administration, Early Childhood Development and University Studies. All courses are offered in two sixteen-week semesters each year. This community-based- programming plays a key role in enhancing opportunities for the community of Fort Chipewyan.

Residents of Fort Chipewyan can also take advantage of distance education opportunities through an Alberta North Initiative. Keyano College manages the Community Access Point to provide a network of educational services and programs to northern Alberta communities through distance education technology.

In addition to providing post-secondary programming and distance education, Keyano is the hosting authority for the Fort Chipewyan Adult Learning Council. Through this agency, the College manages a literacy program in the community, and offers general interest and professional development courses such as Cree language, sewing, business communications and a variety of computer courses.
