Introduction

Muskeg Mountain Limited Partnership (MMLP) is a provider of heavy equipment and associated services to Albian Sands Energy's (ASE) Muskeg River Mine site located approximately 65km north of Fort McMurray, Alberta.                                                                                         

In the last four years, MMLP has established itself as a serious competitor in the heavy hauler industry. We have used our time to train our employees in the safe and professional operation of the equipment. Our relationship with Albian Sands is excellent, and we are now servicing 80% of all heavy hauler needs on site.

MMLP is located on the ASE oil sands project site. Our primary role is to operate heavy haulers (777) that transport reject material to waste piles on site. We load and unload our own trucks and maintain the waste site by flattening out the unloaded material. We have been in business for 6 years on site, and have grown from 3 trucks to 15, in addition to our other various equipment.

We also provide a fuel & lube service for all ASE and MMLP heavy equipment. We also provide mine support and assist on other projects through the year. Currently, MMLP employs 95 people. We provide a variety of different services to Albian Sands Energy.

At times our equipment is not used to full capacity. Idle equipment is rented to ASE without an operator on an as-available, as-needed basis and ensures that our equipment is constantly generating revenue.

MMLP has an advantage over its competitors as we have reliable equipment. We replace it before productivity noticeably slows. ASE knows that MMLP is committed to providing our services with the best equipment and technology available.
