Health Services

Our mission is to do all that is needed to optimize the health of the community of Fort McKay. At the centre, we manage, in general, all aspects of health and social services supporting health assessment and maintenance.

Services currently available at the health centre are:

  • Primary Care (e.g., family physician)
  • Public Health (e.g., immunizations, vaccinations, STI screening, baby check-ups)
  • Prenatal and Well-Woman Visits
  • Mental Health Therapist
  • Physiotherapy
  • Geriatric/Palliative Care Specialist Services
  • Lab Testing (e.g., bloodwork, etc.)
  • Telehealth Consults

We will have the following additional services in the near future:

  • Internal Medicine Specialist Visits
  • Dentist Clinics
  • Pharmacy Services
  • Optometrist Clinics

Hours of Operation

Monday to Thursday (8:30 am to 4:30 pm) (with a break at 12:00 pm)
Friday (8:30 am to 1:00 pm)

Location

The Health Centre is located in the Dorothy McDonald Centre.
