Hello everyone, as part of their efforts to ensure the safe resumption of oil and gas activity in the Fort McMurray area, the Alberta Energy Regulatory (AER) Air Monitoring Unit will be stationed in Fort McKay today to monitor H2S (Hydrogen Sulphide) and SO2 (Sulphur Dioxide) levels in the community.
The unit may periodically drive through the community to take measurements at different community locations.
The mobile Air Monitoring Unit is scheduled to arrive in the community early afternoon of Saturday, May 14, 2016.
