Thebacha LP owns and operates a bitumen cooling, blending and storage facility located 30km North of Fort McMurray, Alberta. The facility includes seven tanks, two blenders, cooling facilities and two vapour combustion units.

First Nations ETF LP owns 49% of Thebacha, Suncor owns 51% and remains its operator. Through FN ETF LP, Fort Mckay First Nation owns 34.3% of Thebacha and Mikisew Cree First Nation owns 14.7%.

Hammerstone is part of the Brookfield Asset Management group of companies. Hammerstone’s Muskeg Valley Quarry was established in 2009 and is centrally located within the mineable oil sands area. The quarry covers an area of about 3,600 acres and, with over 750 million tonnes of directly accessible limestone and gravel reserves, is well-positioned to supply the North Athabasca market for decades to come.
